Weekly Workout/Training in Review 5/11-5/24

Happy Memorial Day!  Thanks to those who served our country.  I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend, whether it be away, at home, or at the pool!  I definitely needed this long weekend!!


As you may have noticed – it was pretty quiet on the blogging + tweeting + commenting front.  In the past two weeks I worked insane hours (150 + nearing project completion) – which left little time for sleeping or writing.   Because more time was spent in front of the computer rather than working out, it was more concise to call out those specific workout dates vs. my usual day by day list form.

Saturday 5/17 –13.1 miles

Saturday 5/24 –1  mile elliptical + 60 minute training session

Total: 14.1 miles

That’s right, 14.1 miles in two weeks – 13.1 miles from last week’s Brooklyn Half Marathon (race recap coming tomorrow). 


My project should slow down over the next couple of weeks and I have my workouts planned for the upcoming week! I can’t wait to get my run/sweat on!

Special thanks to those who kept me sane the past two weeks! It definitely helped me get through it!
