Another beautiful weekend! This past Sunday I ran the 30th George Washington Parkway 10 Miler. It was not the race I hoped for (can’t always have a PR), I will post my recap tomorrow.
Sunday 4/6 – 10 miles – Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Miler
Monday 4/7 – 60 minutes of yoga
Tuesday 4/8 – 4 mile warmup + 60 minute training session
Wednesday 4/9 – 60 minutes of walking
Thursday 4/10 – 1 mile elliptical + 60 minute training session
Friday 4/11 – 1 mile walk + 1 mile elliptical + 60 minute training session
Saturday 4/12 – Rest day / Co-hosted an Engagement Brunch
Total: 17 miles and change
Mileage-wise I was a little under last week, which was fine with me. On Monday I went to a Vinyasa Yoga class at my gym and it felt so good to stretch out my body. I also had 3 personal training sessions (definite highs despite the soreness – but did impact my run this past weekend).

This past weekend I also co-hosted an engagement brunch for one of my oldest friends. I will leave you with a few pics of the goods:
