Another overnight oats post? I know I know……I am a bit behind on the overnight oats train (I suppose I would fall in the ‘late majority’ category.. ok… enough nerding). I’ve pinned so many recipes, but never got my act together to make it.
When I go running with my old roommate Rachel, we usually spend time talking food (of course). During our last run, Rachel mentioned she made overnight oats for the first time and it was good! Of course now I had to give it a try!
Ingredients (Thanks Rach)
- 1/4 cup steel cut oats (really a 1:1 oat / milk ratio)
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- Blueberries (or any other fruit)
Put the oats, milk and blueberries in a container or jar. Stick it in the fridge.
Next day deliciousness!
- Sooo easy to make
- Little cleanup involved
- I am dying to try other combinations of fruits/spices
