Tasty Thursday took a little hiatus the past month. In April, I shared Runner’s World take on Hummingbird Muffins. I looked at my “What I’m Cooking Next” and was immediately drawn to the Sliced Apple with Goat Cheese and Balsamic Vinegar recipe. It sounded like it was easy to prepare, yummy, and I do love goat cheese.
- 1 sweet apple
- 1 ounce soft goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
- balsamic vinegar
Slice the apple into wedges
Spread the goat cheese on one side of the wedge
Pour the chopped walnuts onto a small plate and press the cheese side of the apple into the walnuts. Lightly drizzle the balsamic vinegar
- It was a tasty snack
- It took less than 5 minutes to prepare
- I liked the sweet and savory combination
