Hey Everyone! Still catching up from the weekend. This post will be fairly light.
Monday 9/15 – 1 mile + 60 minutes personal training (arms)
Tuesday 9/16 – Rest day
Wednesday 9/17 – 2 miles
Thursday 9/18 – 1 mile
Friday 9/19 – Rest day
Saturday 9/20 – Rest day / Bridal Shower
Sunday 9/21 – Rest day
Total: 4 miles
Last week’s 16-18 miler really wiped me out recovery wise. As you can see I only got 4 miles in this week vs. 23 miles from last week. For the first few days post long run my knees were pretty tender (I did foam roll but did not have a chance to ice them). While I am disappointed I did not get in all my mileage, the guilt is not there which is good! I’ll regroup and get my 16 miler in this week.
Food/Social wise there were two highlights this week. There was this red velvet cake with goat cream cheese from Cafe Saint-Ex.
And traveling to Pennsylvania on Saturday to celebrate my old roommate Rachel’s Bridal Shower. Beautiful weather + great company + wine = a good day.
