Charleston Half Training-12/22-12/28-Week 8

Morning morning! I hope everyone had a good holiday week/weekend.  I am enjoying my “winter break” and finished both Parenthood AND Marco Polo.  Now that I am caught up with Parenthood… so sad that it is the last season. 

Monday 12/22 – 5 miles biking + 60 minutes personal training

Tuesday 12/23 – Rest day + last minute shopping

Wednesday 12/24  Rest day + baking

Thursday 12/25 – Rest day

Friday 12/26 – Rest day

Saturday 12/27 3 miles + 60 minutes personal training

Sunday 12/28 – Rest day

Total: 3 miles + 5 miles biking

Fitness-wise it was not my best week.  I had planned on working out everyday, but ended up breaking my Turkey to Bubbly streak of working out at least 30 minutes a day from Thanksgiving to New Years.  A little bummed, but its okay… back on the workout wagon this week!


Nutrition-wise….I ate sooo many sweets…..and I do not regret it. They were good! I enjoyed making some of the goodies below (thanks for the idea Colleen)


Skinnytaste Nutella almond butter cookies.


The highlight of the week was my parent’s annual Christmas party, which was held on Christmas Eve this year.  All of my siblings were in town, I got to see my cousins, and Cliff was able to attend the party as well.


Delicious homemade cookies and biscottis.
